10th annual Wilsall Ranch Rodeo Sunday, August 23, 2010
The 10th Annual Wilsall Ranch Rodeo entertained fans from all over the state
Sunday August 22, 2010.
Ten teams from the region competed for a purse of $2,400 and the top award went to local ranch hands “Inlaws and Outlaws” from Wilsall with a score of 34 points (out of 60 possible) accumulated in six events. Contestants Garrett Hamm, Tyler Hamm, Jessie Sarrazin and Jaime Wood competed to win three of the five events including the challenging Ranch Horse Class ridden by Jaime Wood. The O’Hair Ranch of Paradise Valley came in second with 24 points.
The coveted Top Hand award which is voted on by other teams, judges and audience members was awarded to Jaime Wood of the Inlaws and Outlaws Team and the Top Horse went to Luke Wiggins of the Diamond X Team from Dillon, MT.
A Calcutta of OVER $16,000 was paid out to bidders of the 1st and 2nd place winners overall, in the branding, and cow milking events.
